25 Things About Me!

I figure that there are a few of you out there who know me pretty well, but I'm also pretty sure that there are some who don't. Either way, here are 25 things about me:

2. I love teasing people and playing pranks
3. I went to university to be an ophthalmic assistant
4. I play the guitar and ukulele
5. I have 3 sisters
6. Tacos are the best food option out there
7. I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
8. I did gymnastics for 8 years
9. My birthday is October 10th
10. Currently obsessed with the T.V shows Jane the Virgin and Riverdale
11. I love cleaning and organizing
12. Summer is my favourite season
13. I played rugby during high school
14. I'm studying Spanish and hope to be fluent soon

What am I doing?

This January I will have the amazing opportunity to volunteer as an English teacher in the Dominican Republic for roughly 4 months. I am with the International Language Programs (ILP), which is a non-profit organization. By teaching these children english, it will further their education in which they may not have received before, and hopefully open many opportunities and doors from them in their future.

I am excited to experience a different culture, language, and people. I can hardly wait until January to meet my class, as well as the other volunteers I will be traveling with. Wish me luck!
